Welcome to the Northumbria Ghost~Lore Society ~
A social community exploring the folklore, forteana, hauntings and the weird in the English North Country, Scottish borders & Pennines. Despite the name, as well as ghosts, other subject matter such as UFOs, faerie-lore, witchcraft, cryptids, haunting crimes & other such strangeness will be discussed, as long as they pertain somehow to the northern region.
Over time to come we aim to bring you accounts of experiences, classic folklore, site visit footage, art, photography, poetry and perhaps even fiction pieces inspired by the lore of the North from a variety of creators and experiencers.
Hopefully also, when the plague passes over the land, we will host some meet-ups and maybe sample the victuals of some haunted pubs or do group visits to strange places.
